Lions Valley spans approximately 10.60 hectares (26.19 acres) on the north side of Dundas Street West, including roughly 3.79 hectares (9.37 acres) of protected Natural Heritage System lands along Sixteen Mile Creek.

Lions Valley Park sits about 250m east with views to Sixteen Mile Creek, Travertine Park is roughly a 5-minute walk northwest, and the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex is about 850m northeast. Two village squares are also within a 5-minute walk in the adjacent community.
